Ben Parkash | Neuro Physiotherapist

Ben Parkash is passionate about his work. Ben believes that to be successful, the first thing to do is fall in love with your work, that’s why I’m in love with my job.

I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2006 from Garden City College of Physiotherapy, India. Since then, I have worked with a multi-disciplinary team and started developing his interest and knowledge in the Neuro Physiotherapy field.

In 2009 Ben completed his Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of East London. Ben became an HCPC registered Chartered Physiotherapist and continued developing this experience in the neuro field by working in NHS.

From 2011, Ben worked as Lead Physiotherapist at Herts Multiple Sclerosis Centre. Ben Parkash has developed expert skills and knowledge in treating a wide range of neurological conditions including, multiple sclerosis, stroke, Parkinson’s Disease brain injury, spinal injuries, neuromuscular conditions, cerebral palsy and progressive neurological conditions.

In 2019, started as Lead physiotherapist with Letchworth Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Centre. Ben enjoys building relationships with individuals and their families and getting to know the person. My role as Lead therapist is to support staff, individuals and their families to ensure the provision of high-quality person-centred rehabilitation.

Sandra Henderson | Specialist Neurological Trainer, Massage Therapist and APS Therapist

I have over 10 years of experience working with individuals who live with neurological conditions. I offer remedial exercise and low-impact, rehabilitation training to individuals with neurological conditions, including MS, Stroke, Parkinson’s and ABI.

We focus on maintaining and improving functional ability to complete the day-to-day tasks that are beneficial to a person’s quality of life. I communicate with my clients to identify their goals and take a holistic approach to devise a personalised treatment plan or programme, to facilitate reaching the goals and desired treatment outcomes that we have identified together.

I am a qualified massage therapist, trained in both Swedish and advanced deep tissue techniques, to deliver the physiological and psychological benefits that massage therapy can provide.

I also offer APS pain reduction therapy to all, a micro-current therapy with offers a drug-free alternative to pain management.
